Mountbatten poses with officers including Air Vice Marshal Breakey, Lieutenant-Generals Messery and Stopford with the aircrew behind. Pipe band of 1st Battalion 11th Sikh Regiment marching on the padang at the Royal Selangor Club in Kuala Lumpur. Long lens shot of the band playing. The Sultan of Selangor, Alam Shah, arrives. Sir Edward Gent, Governor of the Malayan Union, arrives and a Union flag is unfurled. Mountbatten and entourage passing.
