- Description: A BE2 spots for a 12-inch howitzer, transmitting instructions by morse. An RE7 comes in to land. A Lewis gun is checked before being taken on patrol by a Sopwith 1-1/2 Strutter of 45 Squadron. A Fairey FIII seaplane is lifted out onto the deck of a ship and launched by means of a trolley and platform. A Sopwith Camel on ditching trials lands in the water at the Isle of Dogs. A Bristol Fighter of 48 Squadron comes in to land after a patrol and the crew is debriefed. An FE2 of 20 Squadron is prepared for a sortie. The squadron takes off. A (unique) view of some 'model' training trenches in England. A Farman Shorthorn in flight. The FE2s coming back to land. A German squadron prepares and takes off in Fokker DVIIs. British anti-aircraft crews with lorry-mounted 13-pounder anti-aircraft guns. Handley Page 0/400 bombers, probably of 41 Wing RAF, are bombed up for a raid and shown (unique) taking off.
