Summary: The British Army Machine Gun School in France, December 1915.
Description: A posed group of the school staff. A training exercise in which the men run forward to set up their Vickers machine guns under cover or in a prone position. One of the groups of trainees sets out with their machine guns over their shoulders. At the range, they go through weapons practice with the Lewis, Maxim and Vickers machine guns, including both firing and tabletop instruction. A line of Vickers machine guns fires at a range, with an instructor giving a demonstration (showing the target he is aiming at). The group returns from the ranges carrying the machine guns.
