Description: Groups of men and officers pose for the camera. The men soap their equipment, and clean their uniforms and rifles. One man stands in a pit with a Lewis machine gun on an anti-aircraft mount and a pair of binoculars. Cooks carry dixies of food to a temporary cookhouse, and soup is served out.
