Summary: A National Savings Film explaining how savings are used to equip the RAF.
Description: A civilian (G H Mulcaster) is arrested wandering round an Air Force fighter station. Questioned by the station commander, he hotly denies being a spy: since his National Savings had helped equip the RAF he was exercising his "owner's" rights of looking around, and asks for "a flip in a fighter." The Commander is unable to permit this, but as next best thing gives him a flight in a Link trainer; the civilian imagines a colossal 'dogfight' and has to be rescued when the machine goes berserk as he attempts to put it through a victory roll. The closing dialogue states the film's message: C/O - "The more you and your friends put your hands in your pockets the sooner we'll all be doing the victory roll". Civilian - "As long as you want aeroplanes you are going to get them."
