Description: General Eisenhower enters Dakota ('Betsy'), leaving HQ. He goes on an inspection tour of an airfield - Bostons and Mitchells in the background - visiting control towers, hangars etc. At another airfield, he repeats the routine. As the Dakota lands, a Miles Messenger 'plane is shown. Eisenhower gives a speech, is driven round the airfield, and talks with Air Chief Marshal Sir Trafford Leigh-Mallory, Air Marshal Sir Arthur Coningham, as well as the Commanding Officers of the two airfields.
