Description: (Tape 1) (i) Brief rehearsal shot is followed by footage from the Centenary Concert with the Irish Army's No 1 Band at the National Great Hall in Dublin. Interviews with Commandant Joseph Ryan and Major Andrew Chatburn, shot immediately after. (ii) Open air band recital the following day in the grounds of a residential home for the elderly. Further interview with Major Chatburn about the previous night's concert. Also interviewed are two elderly Irish Army veterans, Joseph Ryan (not the Commandant appearing above) and James Donnelly.
