Summary: Scenes at the MCSU (Mobile Catering Support Unit) and medics preparing ambulance.
Description: I. Members of the RAF MCSU prepare food in catering tent. Compo rations in tins are emptied into large cooking pots - meals being prepared include "minced beef Ferrari", pasta and curry. Food is put into trays and then into oven.
II. Interior of ambulance as medic checks equipment including crutches, oxygen and Heartstart defibrillator (he demonstrates the equipment's "talking instructions"). Shot of interior of ambulance from camera placed in storage locker.
III. Casualty evacuation exercise outside ambulance in camp; "victim" with suspected neck/spinal injury is moved gently onto a backboard which is then placed on a stretcher; this in turn is loaded into the ambulance.
