Summary: RAF aircraft activities on airfield in Jordan.
Description: I. Preparation of general purpose bombs, which are craned from the back of a flatbed truck and placed onto trolleys; adjustments are made. Close-ups of bombs in their cradles. Tailplanes are brought on, adjusted and bolted on. Tails for larger bombs are also prepared.
II. Night operations, shot with infra-red image intensifier, casting a grainy green monochrome glow over the images; buildings and distant runway and aircraft landing lights can be seen. Aircraft (Tornado ?) flies over camera position. Further aircraft movements in distance (camera zooms in). Two aircraft taxiing, one is a Jaguar. Other aircraft land (Harriers ?). Further shots of Jaguar waiting on runway, including close-up of undercarriage; the aircraft takes off. General shaky views of airfield lights. Camera crew's voices (general chat) can be heard throughout.
