Summary: Emergency response to a simulated road traffic accident during Exercise Cornish Titan.
Description: Personnel attend the accident scenes (two vehicles, a Ford Transit van and a Land Rover. The two drivers (one has a head injury) are given assistance. Members of the RAF Regiment and the RAF Police patrol the area around the accident site as further first aid is administered to casualties. One of the injured is transferred to a stretcher. Land Rover Battlefield Ambulances arrive on scene: the stretcher is carried on board. Medics prepare a spine board for one of the other casualties. In camp, casualty is taken into a tent at the Tactical Medical Wing where his blood pressure is taken (note stuck on "facial injury"). Other casualties arrive; one is on a spinal board and is stretchered into tent and into field dressing room for treatment.
