II. Interior of air traffic control tower. interviews with air traffic controllers: Sergeant Dave Knights, Senior Aircraftman Jamie Booth, Senior Aircraftman Dan Chick and Sergeant Terry Neald. They all record Christmas messages to family.
III. Panning shots of Basra International Airport from roof of air traffic control building.
IV. Training of members of the Iraqi Department of Border Enforcement (DBE) in the terminal building: men are taught self defence skills and the use of handcuffs. Training is through an interpreter. (These men are being trained to become, in turn, trainers who will instruct future members of the DBE.) Interview with Warrant Officer Roger Johnson, one of the trainers; colonel from the DBE is also interviewed (in English). Further training, this time in the use of telescopic steel batons. Second Iraqi officer is interviewed using an interpreter; in the background, the (noisy) baton training continues.
