Summary: Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) operations in Iraq: anti-tank mines are disposed of.
Description: I. Disposal of mines (continued from previous tape). Warrant Officer Petit makes final preparations; his colleagues continue their inch-by-inch "look-feel-prod" search. Locations of mines are marked; WO Petit discusses the situation with his colleagues. Charges are laid (PE4 explosive) and detonator wire is put in place.
II. Extended long shot of the minefield area; this lasts for several minutes until the mines are finally detonated amidst a cloud of smoke. When the smoke has dispersed, EOD officers walk to the scene to inspect the aftermath.
III. Drive-through of the Iraqi town of Safwan, taken from inside a Land Rover. (Low sound level.)
IV. Puma helicopter lands on airfield for refuelling; fuel line is attached to the side. (The fuel comes from the bulk fuel installation which was seen being prepared in an earlier tape.)
V. Brief shot of sunset, also of plume of smoke on the horizon.
VI. US Cobra helicopters fly overhead; one of them comes in to land and is refuelled from bulk fuel installation of the Tactical Support Wing. Afterwards, it takes off and hovers.
