Description: Garlanded hull down slipway. Arrival of Kaiser ahead of Admirals von Schroeder and von Holtzendorff past spectators' stand. Kaiser pauses to speak to Prince Regent Luitpold of Bavaria on landing stage before boarding a launch. Admiral von Tirpitz speaks to the Prince Regent. Kaiser approaches the base of the launching podium with King Ludwig III of Bavaria. Bow view of hull slipping into water (film join). Kaiser steps out of launch followed by von Schroeder and von Holtzendorff and proceeds between line of guards. Party including Kaiser, Tirpitz, top-hatted civilian (presumably Krupp), Ludwig III of Bavaria with his consort Maria Therese, Prince Regent with his consort, descends steps from spectators' stand. Royal party walks past waving spectators. White-haired civilian (director of Krupp Germaniawerft?) receives Prince Regent and his consort at the top of the launching podium, ahead of Ludwig III and Tirpitz, and demonstrates bottle smashing gesture before party descends from podium. Kaiser, standing at the entrance to the spectators' stand, greets the Prince Regent's consort and Ludwig III. Season of year is wintry.
