Description: (10 September 1940) Four workmen, and a railway crane, undertake repairs to bomb damaged railway lines between Waterloo and Vauxhall, London. The crane hoists the wooden posts down to another group of workmen (Home Guard?) at a lower level, where they help manoeuvre the posts onto a stack. MH96
(11 September 1940) Rubble is being cleared from inside a collapsed railway arch between Waterloo and Vauxhall by workmen (Home Guard?) using pickaxes and shovels. Two sets of railway tracks are suspended over the bomb damaged mainline arch. Various shots of the bomb crater from inside the arch.
