Summary: Newly built Assault Landing Craft arriving as railway freight and being unloaded at Southampton Docks. The majority of the film is an assortment of intertitles.
Description: (7 January 1941) Following on from the previous reel in the series; an ALC (Assault Landing Craft, No. 206) is unloaded from a flat railway wagon and launched onto the water at Southampton Docks, by dockside crane. ALC No. 207 follows, using the same sequence of shots. ALC No. 205 is also featured, using a similar sequence of shots, but from the opposite angle. The three ALC’s are then towed away by a steam tugboat. (HM178 continued)
