Description: (30 November – 1 December 1942) Ministry of Aircraft Production workshop at Eastleigh Works, Hampshire. A female worker cuts through wood using a router. Pre-cut wooden sections are taken to a workbench, where they are hammered and glued into a jig. CH203-208
(3 December 1942) A Merchant Navy class locomotive, steaming towards the camera near Eastleigh Works, haulling several passenger carriages. Cuts back; to work being undertaken in an Eastleigh workshop. A short sequence featuring a female worker stamping and numbering blocks of wood. Another short sequence shows the wood being weighed out on a small set of mechanical scales, to check for moister absorption.
