(10 March 1943) Mounted police front and tail an Allied Forces procession as it passes the bombed Southern Railway offices near Waterloo Station, London. An American military marching band lead the parade, along with a mixture of British (RAF), Free French (in RAF blues?) American (Army & Air Force) and Polish (Marching band & Air Force?) service personnel in a variety of uniforms. They are followed by some military vehicles including; two 3-ton RAF trucks, (with an “AERIAL LIGHTING” trailer & “FLOODLIGHT TRAILER”), and an RAF “BOMB DISPOSAL SQUAD” truck (displaying a selection of bomb types on the trailer). (30 March – 1 April 1943) Eastleigh Works, building Mechanised Landing Craft (MLC). Large sections of an MLC are being lowered into position; bolts are inserted to hold some sections in place. A variety of engineering work including; female workers using machine tools, and rocket turrets ("pillboxes") being tested. An LCP(S) 120 (Landing Craft Personnel, Small) tag close-up. An almost complete LCS(M) (Land Craft Support, Medium), still up on wooden supports. Finishing with, all the previous items and some additional features in brief.
