Description: (13 January 1947) Two engineers look over plans for Charing Cross Bridge (Hungerford Bridge) in central London. Rolling-up one of the plans, they walk out to the bridge and discuss the plans with one of the workers. A surveyor is also featured in the sequence, using a levelling instrument. Two workmen weld railway track on the bridge. SH417
