  • Description: "Rescue of trapped casualty over a dangerous wall": The exercise is preceded by the presentation of a trailer which the squad have constructed in their spare time. The wall is constructed from scaffolding and a tarpaulin. The casualty is rescued by using a ladder braced by ropes, to which is attached a block and tackle - the ladder does not actually touch the wall. The casualty is lashed to the stretcher and lifted over the wall. A second casualty, trapped by a fallen brick wall is rescued (gas masks worn by squad this time).
