Summary: "Everyone has seen on the Newsreels the Soviet ATS girls who serve as nurses in the front line... this little picture shows an episode in the life of one of them".
Description: Opens with a sequence of German advance (including an irrelevant scene in which an NCO shoots a man who lags behind to tie his leggings); a Russian counterattack follows, a man is wounded, and falls into a shellhole; a nurse comes to tend him, and on trying to move on, she is pinned down by enemy fire; she then notices another wounded man, who turns out to be a sinister German doctor. She tries to question him, chats to the wounded Russian, and leaves to get him some water; the German secretly retrieves his pistol; the girl returns, herself slightly wounded - as she climbs up to see the course of the battle, the German tries to shoot her, but is killed by the wounded Russian. The two Russians rejoin their comrades.
