Summary: Complete "film show" compilation, with detailed captions, showing film from all tracking and static (launcher) cameras deployed at OPs (observation posts) during trial number EE/RS9/006 on 12 January 1956. This was the firing of a "Red Shoes" development round, by English Electric, against a Firefly U.8 unmanned drone aircraft. From the flank cameras (OPs 2 and 3) it looks as if the missile "clips" the target but the rear views (OPs A and F) show that the miss-distance was quite significant. Tracking on all cameras continues until break-up. A very long film with bursts of interest (launch, separation, large missile manoeuvre, intercept and break-up) interspersed with long uneventful sequences - two cameras are on the target throughout.
