Summary: Compilation of trials footage of various rockets; the title "Early Failures" appears on the box and is a slight misnomer in that the film includes a number of "good" firings of, amongst others, RTV2 (Rocket Test Vehicle), Red Duster, Blue Water, Bloodhound (RAF) including a Ripple firing, and a Vulcan/Blue Steel release (all at Aberporth), followed by an unidentified missile flying high and then impacting a hessian screen target (believed to be at Larkhill; the film is a sort of "boresight" format). Then, true to the title, there are a number of failures, some spectacular, including early trials of Red Duster, Red Shoes, Seaslug and finally a Chukar.
