(Reel 2) 100-200 B. Men with cameras walk past and wave. Clearing snow from the MI room (medical inspection? red cross by the door). Panning shot of trees and MI, Triumph Herald again. Pedestrians on the tree-lined road; fallen branch. Idmiston Arch (where the railway crosses the road. Idmiston Halt railway station: platforms and railway tracks. (2 mins 40 secs)
(Reel 3) 200-300 C. General scenes of Porton village: bus parked by thatched cottage, Heinkel "bubble car" snowbound at Porton railway station. Camera pans to show the road and "The Corner Cupboard" store (W J Beech, Grocer). Pedestrians on road. Snow-clearing equipment. "R J Conduit, High Class Family Butchers" - "Shop with the Private Trader"; the butcher stands outside his shop. General views of the village and the River Bourne; people walk through the snow. Woman with garden fork smiles as she stands on her drive. Drive-through shots of the village from inside a car (possibly the Triumph Herald seen earlier). (2 mins 45 secs)
(Reel 4) 300-400 D. Country lanes around Porton village: snow-covered trees. Bus driving along road. Idmiston Halt railway station. View from interior as man clears snow from window outside. Idmiston village: the bus is parked at a stop: camera pans to show the Church of All Saints. The Ford ("unfit for motorists") is covered in snow. Trees and river, back in Porton: the pedestrians and the woman with the fork are seen again. In the Porton Down grounds, several men pose by a Mini car (812 CAA).
