Summary: A new diving mask, with a large visor leaving most of the face visible, is demonstrated in an outdoor pool at the Chemical Defence Establisment, Porton.
Description: Close up of diver wearing the mask; camera pans down to show complete diving suit. Group of spectators (mainly mature men in coats and hats, one with a pipe) gather next to the sunken in an enclosed area at the Establishment. The diver, twin air cylinders on his back, enters the pool using a ladder. He submerges, and is seen swimming underwater, surfacing and diving several times. At the end of the trial, climbs out of the water and removes the mask. (Note uniformed soldier in attendance.)
