Summary: Trials, each one with a handwritten caption on a chalkboard, showing the detonation and dispersal patterns of British and Dutch smoke grenades. The lengths noted on the captions indicate the distance of the camera position from the grenade ("source" indicates a close-up).
Description: (No caption) detonated smoke grenade (presumably the British one) pumps out huge plumes of pale green smoke. Location is an open range, possibly Salisbury Plain or Bovington. More grenades are fired from projectors on an armoured car; these discharge huge amounts of smoke which blow back towards the car and completely obscure it.
