Summary: Preparation for a trial during which a Chieftain main battle tank will be sprayed with simulated contaminant.
Description: (Reel 1) 0-100 A. Crew, dressed in fill NBC suits with respirators, emerge from the tank (03SP12): they don protective gloves before inspecting the tank's track. They climb onto the tank's body and carry out general maintenance inspections: checking beneath hatches etc.
(Reel 2) 100-200 B. Continuation of routine inspection. Jerricans (marked "water") are loaded; one is used to fill engine cooler (?). Fuel is also loaded. Empty jerricans are loaded onto lorry alongside. Ammunition is taken on board. (Original documentation states that "Crew re-enter tank" and "Tank moves off from trials site"; this is not actually shown in the film.)
