Notes: Summary: Shot sheet refers to Spitfires and is in error. This particular machine is serial number MP499, the first of its type to fall into British hands. It was 'delivered' by Oberleutnant Arnim Faber of JG2 to RAF Pembrey on 23 June 1942 when he mistook the Bristol Channel for the English Channel and thought he was in France. Note that it is in British camouflage and markings but with the original unit badge re-applied.
