Summary: A visual record of trials being carried out at Fort Churchill and Camp Shilo, Manitoba and follows the cold weather trials of a Centurion Mk 3. It includes the safety procedures adopted by and for the crews in sub- zero temperatures, the precautions taken to guard against freezing for both the men and vehicles. Throughout there are explanations before each section. During the course of the film a Ferret and Saracen are also observed.
