In order to meet the lift limitations of the Wessex helicopter the less essential componets of the vehicle are removed. The increase in vehicle and cargo lifting capacity of RAF aircraft is demonstrated when standard Landrovers are replaced by the light weight vehicles. It's air portability both by fixed wing and helicopter are seen plus some footage of performance off - road on suspension tracks.
