Summary: A mounted parade held on the Saturday of Cambrai week, November 1960, at which the Regiment saw the Standard, presented by HM Queen on 27th Oct 1960, for the first time. This parade was held about 2 miles from the barracks. The parade consisted of a march-past & advance in review order by the Saladins, Saracens and Ferrets and 'B' vehicles of the Regiment. At the culmination of the march-past, the Regiment formed a hollow square at the saluting base & were addressed by the CO, Lt Col ARE Davis, on the history of the Standards. The latter part of the film shows the Recce Troop being briefed and setting out on an exercise.
