Summary: Rough material of the Siwa Expedition of February and events in Gaza and El Arish of March and April, Egypt and Palestine Front, 1917.
Description: A British column of Rolls-Royce armoured cars and Ford Model T light cars prepares for the expedition. This is followed by their arrival in El Arish with "notables" assembling before the governor. In the desert the motor column signals with semaphore to part of a flanking column. The film then jumps back to a bedouin encampment outside El Arish. Inside El Arish the Sinai Police prepare to set out on patrol. Doctors work in a dressing station. In the desert there are a mounted patrol, a laden camel train, and more scenes of the motor column.
