Description: On board the Galician two soldiers, Lieutenant J Deane of 1st East Lancashire Regiment and Gunner C Shurmer of the RGA are taken off as prisoners of war. The German boarding party rows back with its prisoners to its ship, having ordered the Galician to follow. The liner continues on its course, the battleship is not seen. According to the captions British forces steaming to help forced the German vessel to break contact.
