Description: A set of short colour sequences dealing with events after a major landing in North Africa, shot sometime between November 1942 and May 1943. LCTs landing large numbers of vehicles and supplies on an unidentified North African beach. US troops being guided through a North African town whilst locals look on. A long column of German POWs march out of a camp with a French escort. The POWs are smiling and some laughing. Three captured senior German officers, looking proud and dignified, arrive at an airbase with a British escort and board an aircraft. Possibly they are Generals von Vaerst or von Ritter. A few short shots from an aircraft as it strafes German ground positions. Shots of the captured General Messe disembarking from an aircraft, May 1943. The colour quality is good throughout.
