Description: The film begins with a mixed party climbing and picnicking on Tai-Mo-Shan, with views down onto Hong Kong harbour. There are good shots of HMS Capetown from another craft alongside her. There are shots of tenders going ashore at Hong Kong. Capetown arrived there on July 15th 1937 but her scheduled refit was postponed and her hull was cleaned and repainted only. There are shots of this and of supplies being taken aboard. There is a sequence showing marines going ashore and several unidentified warships in the harbour. There are several shots of the officers relaxing on board.
