Summary: Demonstration of correct procedures for detection and identification of poison gases after a raid on a suburban district.
Description: A gas bombing raid is staged and the "G.I.O" (gas identification officer?) arrives with his analysis kit. Prepared chemical test papers are used in combination with an air pump to identify the type and concentration of air contamination, and liquid samples are taken for later analysis. The decontamination squad arrive and start work on neutralising the gas with bleach powder. Real mustard gas appears to have been used in this exercise.
