Summary: Demonstration of a rocket operated self-propelled bridge mounted on a Churchill.
Description: The bridge approaches a 12 foot wall constructed from oil drums. The rear ramp is lowered and the main ramp flipped by rockets over the obstacle. A Churchill tank drives over. The ramp is recovered by attaching a bracket to guide a cable over it which is then winched in. The bridge is then used in a river crossing. The ramp is fired as before and a Churchill crosses it. Recovery is carried out again. The bridge is driven on to a low loader for transportation. There are further demonstrations of the bridge's capabilities - Sherman tanks with bar tread and with chevron tread tracks are both successfully driven over the ramp.
