After Civil Defence exercise erecting sheer leg triangle, men lunch and, following medal awards, march past Lieutenant-Colonel Mitchell DSO, serving in his last command. Group photograph of Battalion. General Festing arrives. On exercise on moors (Pendell Camp ?). Local squire presents silver platter and officers and men drink toast, presumably to mark end of exercise.
