Description: Soldiers of 7th Battalion parade through town past Lieutenant-Colonel J I M Smail MC and Mayor on review stand. "Annual Camp Norfolk": plaque of 7th Battalion. Men arrive, are briefed and attend field service at Buckenham Tofts. Exercise starts with men dropping by parachute from Blackburn Beverley aircraft, and continues after lunch with practice firing of mortars and machine guns and assault course test. Soldiers relax later playing soccer and in river. Parade, group photograph and toast mark end of annual camp, then men board double decker bus for Brandon railway station. Exercise Overlord on Holy Island (Lindisfarne), off Northumberland coast: armoured cars cross causeway, Hawker Hunters fly overhead, men mess in field and cross causeway in Army trucks.
