Summary: Detailed record of a flight by a Royal Naval Air Service SS-type airship with BE2c fuselage as gondola from the base at Mudros on Lemnos Island off the Gallipoli Peninsula for anti-submarine patrols against Turkish Navy and German Navy in the Aegean Sea , after October 1915 and pre-October 1917.
Description: 1." The airship leaving the enormous shed required for its protection against the elements." Out of canvas hangar, pilot and observer seated in fuselage below. Some RNAS sailors wear solar topees and shorts.
