Visit by train to Bulgaria and record of May Day procession through Sofia, with floats and delegations representing professional classes, workers and girls in traditional costume parading past huge banners bearing portraits of Stalin, Lenin and other heroes of the new Communist regime (1946?). Visit by air to Athens in winter. Parthenon and Temple at Eleusis. Return of King George II to Athens in early 1947.
