Description: Post WWI Poland - an industrious nation justifying its freedom and independence; the building of the largest port on the Baltic at Gdynia from small village to great city with large freight terminus, harbour, merchant navy college, the navy base, providing Poland with outlet to sea; proximity of Gdynia to Danzig, a free port coveted by Germans as stepping stone to Russia; gradual infiltration of Nazis at railway terminus; Hitler and Goebbels hysterically setting stage for war in Europe with emotional speeches and propaganda; Germans bombing up while negotiations for peace still continue between Paris, London, Warsaw and Berlin; Poland invaded, Britain at war with Germany, Polish become refugees once again. The film ends on the optimistic note that young evacuees from Poland will return to their countries to lead lives of peace and prosperity.
