Description: I. "Wings over Europe": Churchill speaks (sound only) about following up the raids on Lübeck and Rostock. Preparations are shown for the 1000 bomber raid on the factories of Cologne, but no actual raid material is included.
II. "Fighter Sweep Attack in the West": Air Marshal Sholto Douglas, C-in-C Fighter Command, speaks of carrying the war to the enemy. Shots of fighter sweeps taking off and returning.
III. "RAF Fighters in Action": Young pilots take part in mock combat. Experts later comment on the resulting film. Other film shows hits on enemy planes - Heinkel III. Dorniers - and shipping.
IV. "Roving Camera Reports": The American carrier "Yorktown" is damaged by enemy planes. Troops practise a mass parachute drop (both items short, badly cut).
V. "RAF Chief Inspects New War Planes": American Air Force Colonel Chaney presents Britain with a supply of fighter planes, including a Tomahawk and a B-17. Another American, Miss Jacqueline Cochran, speaks of the sympathy felt in the United States for British women. The sequence concludes with shots of a Lancaster.
