II. "Land and Air Actions by the German Border": Americans advance through an unidentified wood inside the German Border. Aachen is besieged. Civilians are evacuated from the Belgian-German border and an unidentified area in the Aachen district.
III. "Battle Dispatch from War Zones in Europe": A Lancaster drops bombs and incendiaries on a day raid on Duisburg. Aerial shots show a night attack on Brunswick. King George VI visits Field Marshal Montgomery on the Western Front. American guns, tanks, infantry and bombs batter Aachen. Civilians are evacuated. Tanks and infantry move into the rubble and ruins, and street fighting occurs.
