Description: The film is presented, uncut, in reverse order of events. It begins with Pershing saying goodbye to the British Adjutant-General, Sir G H Fowke, and the French General Peltier, prior to entering his car and leaving the harbourside where his ship has docked. This is followed by Pershing meeting Fowke on board ship. Pershing inspecting the honour guard of French sailors as he leaves the ship. A final scene, chronologically the first, of Pershing meeting with Peltier on board ship.
