British and French soldiers camped in woodland with a cow and a few horses, the men sleeping or resting, probably 2/10th Battalion, the London Regiment, of 58th Division with soldiers of the French 29th Division (?). A camouflaged 6-inch howitzer battery firing from a treeline out across a plain. A French 75mm battery firing in the open, showing the firing mechanism of one gun, probably near Domart. A French naval gun (?) on a railway carriage mount firing, near Boves.
