Description: GRAF ZEPPELIN UBER BEUTHEN O.S. (Graf Zeppelin over Beuthen, Upper Silesia). Large crowds of enthusiastic spectators watch the airship approach, then listen to the speech of welcome delivered outdoors by the mayor Oberbürgermeister Dr Adolf Knakrick at a microphone. (17 October 1929)
O.S. GROSS KAMPFSPIELE (Upper Silesia Games) President von Hindenburg arrives in an open vehicle in a thronged square in Beuthen, and is greeted by the Mayor. Remainder of report shows athletes entering the new stadium, the mayor Oberbürgermeister Leeber speaking from the podium and a variety of athletic and sporting events including a football match between Beuthen OS and DJK Germania Bobrek, won 4-0. Schoolboys look at the events, and the camera. (1924-1925)
