Description: I. Various shots of the British Power Boat Company factory production line - people cutting notches out of wooden planks, working on an half-constructed hull, galvanising/coating metal boat hooks and screws, putting screws into an upturned craft, the hard chine planing hull is plainly visible. Shots of machine work on boat propellers, fire-treating pipes, installing the engine into the hull and the lowering the armour plated bridge in to positions on the deck.
II. Boat-to-boat footage of a small pleasure craft in Southampton Water. Wide shot of the passenger liner Queen Mary with two 200 class tender motor boats in the foreground.
