- Summary: I. Portuguese language version of a German newsreel showing the Rumanian Minister of Finance, Take Ionescu, at a formal meeting, probably in Bucharest, 1915. II. Portuguese language version of a German newsreel of Turkish troops firing German 77mm field guns and Turkish wounded, possibly at Gallipoli, 1915. III. Portuguese language version of a German newsreel of their own forces on the Western Front, autumn 1915.
- Description: A railhead behind the lines where timber is unloaded from the trains and sacks loaded onto horse-drawn wagons. A mine shaft is pumped clear of water by a hand-pump. In a training exercise troops crawl forward to simulate a "night attack" in daylight. The village of "Chelevelt", presumably Gheluvelt, destroyed "by the British", while new defensive positions are built in its ruins. A ration party moves up through the rear areas. A new 'model' set of trenches is inspected by staff officers. A Maxim machine gun on a recoiling platform in a trench is demonstrated, the platform enabling the gun to be swung down into the trench.
