Description: Burmese men buy longyis (traditional Burmese sarongs) from a stall. A Burmese woman brings a new born baby for a (Burmese?) military doctor to examine. Burmese men fill sacks with rice? in the background is a military jeep marked CAS (Civil Affairs Services). More men buy longyis from a stall manned by Indian? and British? soldiers (presumably from the CAS?). A man shows other items to the camera including blocks of soap and tins of Carnation evaporated milk (the man is wearing a wristband which appears to bear the lion and unicorn crest). Close-up of a soldier (bush hat with red, white and blue badge) with two young Burmese boys. The goods on sale are held up for the camera. A Burmese man (civilian) and two armed soldiers in a wooded area. The Burmese man points towards the bush. A brief shot of three Burmese men walking from the bush towards the soldiers.
