Summary:Messages home from British Army personnel stationed in Burma to their loved ones in the Leicester area. Filmed in a tented field, a group of soldiers take it in turn to present a personal message to their family and friends in England. One man holds a large bunch of bananas, no doubt a tantalising sight for their loved ones back home. Several men speak hesitantly and one has a complete word blank. As the men speak gunfire can be heard in the background. Film ends with the men joining together in a song, 'We are the Leicester Boys'.
